Tips & Tricks
You can automatically import live data into spreadsheets with our “Semi live export to google sheets” button allowing you to build any insight you wish. To do this, navigate to the reports page and open the report you’d like to export to google sheets:
Next, click “Semi-live Export To Google Sheets” at the top of the page:
Copy the formula:
Then, create a new spreadsheet. You can also click “Copy & create a new Sheet” to open up a new spreadsheet. The formula above will be placed in your clipboard (or you can click to copy). Paste the formula into your spreadsheet. The cell will show “Loading…” for a brief moment then it may show a warning:
Click “Allow Access” and wait a few seconds. Your systems data will be placed into Google Sheets! This data will update every hour so long as someone is in the sheet. This data will also update if someone loads the sheet after it has not been loaded for awhile.
While this data cannot be modified directly, you can perform calculations on it or filter out specific data. This can allow you to create extremely versatile and custom dashboards from your data.
